In a single night the Prophet ﷺ was carried from the Sacred Mosque in Makkah to al-Masjid al-Aqṣā in Jerusalem, and from there ascended through the heavens.
It was during this journey that the five daily prayers were prescribed — a gift and a pillar of the believer's daily life.
