من نحن
islamicmedia.tv is one calm, organised point of access for authentic Islamic knowledge across video, audio, and the written word. This page explains who we are, what we mean by authentic, where the content comes from, and how it is reviewed.
To be a trusted, beautifully organised home for authentic Islamic knowledge, free for everyone, in every language. A calm, curated library, not a noisy feed. We want both Muslims and non‑Muslims to be able to learn, read, watch and listen with confidence in what they find.
No advertising, no tracking for profit, and no requests for donations. The platform is self‑funded so that the content, not revenue, stays the focus.
Our reference is the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah as understood by the mainstream scholarship of Ahl al‑Sunnah. In practice this means:
We are early, and curation is an ongoing effort. If you find something that does not meet this standard, please tell us and we will review it.
Content currently comes from a small set of reputable, openly distributed sources, with attribution preserved on every item:
Every item is passed through an automated screen that filters profanity and sect or divisive framing. Anything flagged, and anything submitted by the public, is held for human review before it appears. Our screening improves continually, and human review is the final safeguard.
A verified mark means the channel belongs to a vetted scholar, student of knowledge, or an established institution. Verified channels are reviewed once and then trusted to publish, with spot checks. Everyone can see which channels are verified, so authenticity stays visible.
We are opening the platform to the public so that creators can add beneficial content to their own channel. To protect the library, every contribution flows through review: trusted and verified channels publish quickly with spot checks, while new contributors are held for a human review before anything goes live. This keeps the door open without lowering the bar.
We host openly licensed and freely distributed material, and we preserve attribution and a link back to the original source on every item. We respect the rights of creators and owners.
If you are a rights holder and would like content removed, or if you believe something is inauthentic or misattributed, contact us and we will act promptly. Removal requests are honoured.
The platform is self‑funded. We do not run advertising, we do not sell data, and we do not ask for donations. This is a deliberate choice so that the project answers to its users and to the integrity of the content, and nothing else.
