islamicmedia.tv is a free, ad-free Islamic library. We collect as little data as possible, we do not sell or share your personal data, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.

What we collect

Browsing the site: nothing that identifies you. You can read, watch and listen without an account.
If you create an account: a username, email address, and a securely hashed password. Optional comments you post.
Functional storage on your device: small items kept in your browser (theme, language and format preferences, and a sign-in session token). These are not used to track you.
Server logs: standard technical logs (such as IP address and request data) kept briefly for security and to keep the service running.

How we use it

To provide the site, remember your preferences, and keep you signed in.
To publish and moderate comments you choose to post.
To protect the service against abuse and to comply with the law.

We do not sell your data, show behavioural ads, or build advertising profiles.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (for creating an account and posting comments), and our legitimate interests (to operate, secure and improve the site). Our servers are located in the European Union.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR/UK GDPR and the CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Email privacy@islamicmedia.tv and we will respond within the time required by law.

Cookies & local storage

We use only essential, functional storage (preferences and a sign-in session). We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.

Children

The site is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

We host material that is freely distributable or licensed, with attribution to its source. To report a copyright or content concern, email contact@islamicmedia.tv and we will review it promptly.
