A teacher and narrator of hadith
Umm Salama (ra) endured great hardship in her early migration, separated from her husband and child for a time. After her husband's death she married the Prophet ﷺ.
Her wisdom was famous: at Ḥudaybiyyah, when the companions hesitated, her counsel to the Prophet ﷺ to act first himself moved them all to follow. She lived long, teaching and narrating hadith.
