A cousin of the Prophet ﷺ, Zaynab (ra) was deeply devoted to worship and charity, tanning and sewing leather with her own hands and giving all she earned to the poor.
ʿĀʾishah (ra) praised her piety and truthfulness, and she was the first of the wives to follow the Prophet ﷺ after his passing, as he had foretold of the most charitable among them.
