Umm Ḥabība (Ramla)

Ramla (ra) embraced Islam early and migrated to Abyssinia, where she lost her husband. There the Prophet ﷺ married her, sending his proposal across the sea.

She remained firm in faith even as her father Abū Sufyān was, at that time, a leader of Quraysh's opposition, a model of holding to the truth above lineage.
