Ṣafiyya (ra) was of noble lineage among Banū al-Naḍīr. After the events of Khaybar she accepted Islam and married the Prophet ﷺ, who honoured and consoled her.
When others taunted her over her origins, the Prophet ﷺ taught her to answer with pride in her noble prophetic ancestry, and she was known for her forbearance and generosity.
