Al-Humaza

وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ١

104:1Woe to every scorner and mocker

ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ٢

104:2Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.

يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ٣

104:3He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.

كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ٤

104:4No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ٥

104:5And what can make you know what is the Crusher?

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ٦

104:6It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled,

ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ٧

104:7Which mounts directed at the hearts.

إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ٨

104:8Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them

فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ٩
