The muezzins will have the longest necks among the people on the Day of Judgment
Mu‘āwiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The muezzins will have the longest necks among the people on the Day of Judgment."
Explanation
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informed that the muezzins, who call to prayer, will have the longest necks on the Day of Judgment due to the honor of their work, their abundant goodness, and the greatness of their reward.
Benefits
- The merit of the Adhān (call to prayer) and encouraging its performance.
- Highlighting the honor of the muezzins and their high status on the Day of Judgment.
